WOW... a 91 Explorer. The first year Ford came out with that SUV. I used to drive one. A rare 5-speed manual transmission. I was able to put 270,000 miles on it, without any major repairs. I had to replace the power steering unit and the clutch. When I replaced the clutch, I also replaced the rear seal gasket, since the transmission was taken apart anyway. I saved a lot of money. If I remember, it cost me about 700 dollars, parts included.
