1987 ford tauras change all gaskets and had complete tu ne up then change water pump replaced distributor madu?

l now it wont run, turns over but wont start?1987 ford tauras change all gaskets and had complete tu ne up then change water pump replaced distributor madu?Go back and check the dist modual, May have installed the wrong on or unplugged? Check all wiring harness's for a unplugged connector1987 ford tauras change all gaskets and had complete tu ne up then change water pump replaced distributor madu?Define all gaskets please.

Requirements for the vehicle to run.

1 Must have fuel spray from injectors

2 must have electric spark at spark plugs

3 must have compression correctly timed.

Since you did tune up and module, I would start there looking for an incomplete connection (happens to the best of us)

Was head gasket one of the gaskets? if so timing may not have been re-set correctly.

Check to see if the ground straps were re-connected when valve cover(s) were removed if applicable

Make sure connections are good for all of the fuel injectors (may have knocked them loose)

This list can go on forever.1987 ford tauras change all gaskets and had complete tu ne up then change water pump replaced distributor madu?First check for fuel pressure by depressing the shrader valve on the fuel rail. If fuel pressure does not exist, then focus on the IRCM that mounts above the radiator: it's not uncommon. I think you will have fuel pressure, and the biggest place you can make a mistake is the firing order of the plugs. The distributor rotation is different between 3.0 and 3.8 engines. Remove the valve cover if necessary, and make sure cylinder #1 is at TDC at the start of the ignition stroke, and connect plug 1 to where the rotor is pointing to. Continue to install plug wires in the direction the rotor rotates, using the firing order cast into the intake manifold. If that doesn't work, then see if the plugs are getting wet with fuel and check the plug gap.
